What is udyog aadhaar?

Difference between udyog aadhaar, micro small and medium enterprise and small scale industry.

Micro, small and medium enterprise registration was previously known as udyog aadhar. Now, the whole process of obtaining micro, small and medium enterprise registration is converted to udyog aadhar registration.

Micro small enterprises, while registering a complaint on samadhaan portal, may give their consent to share their outstanding or unpaid invoices details on the national electronic governance services limited interface unit.

The national electronic governance services limited will send a link to those medium sector enterprise for logging into the national electronic governance services limited interface unit and puffing their separate digital signatures attesting to the data on the samadhaan.

The national electronic governance services portal will upload the copy of unpaid invoices and put pressure on the companies to make the payments. Once medium sector enterprise give their consent, the communication could then be shared to the other lenders like banks, national banking financial corporation, rating agencies and other micro, small and medium enterprise concerning as a technique of putting pressure on failing buyers to satisfy their outstanding obligations. Guidelines for filing udyog aadhaar form.

Firstly aadhaar number. 12 digit aadhaar number of the applicant is mandatory.

Secondly name of the owner. The applicant should fill in his name strictly as mentioned on the aadhaar card issued by the unique identification authority of india. For example if raj pal singh has his name as raj p singh, the same should accordingly be entered if the name does not match with the aadhar number the applicant will not be able to fill the form further.

To validate aadhar.

Validate aadhar. The applicant must click on validate aadhaar button for verification of aadhaar after that only user can fill the form further.

The reset. The applicant can click on reset button to clear the field of aadhaar number and the name of the owner for a different aadhaar.

Thirdly social category. Applicant caste. General and Scheduled caste and scheduled tribe and other backward class is needed. For categories other than general, proof of belonging to that category may be asked by the appropriate authority, if and when required.

Fourthly the gender. The Applicant can select the gender of the entrepreneur.

Fifthly physically handicapped. The applicant can select the physically handicapped status of the entrepreneur.

Sixthly name of the enterprise. The applicant must fill in the name by which his enterprise is known to the customers and is a legal entity to conduct business. A single applicant may operate multiple enterprise each of which must be registered separately for a separate udyog aadhaar and with the same aadhaar number as enterprise one and enterprise two. It is possible to add the same aadhaar number and organisation name a second time. Only additional details can be added and deleted at the time of editing.

Seventhly the type of organization. The applicant may select from the given list the appropriate type of the organization for his enterprise. The Applicant must ensure that he is authorized by the legal entity to fill this online form. Each business will receive only one udyog aadhaar number.

Eightly permanent account number. The applicant has to enter a permanent account number in case of co operative limited and private limited and public limited and limited liability partnership. In the remaining types of organizations it will be optional.

Ninthly location of the plant. By pressing the add plant option the applicant can register for several plant locations in one registration.

Tenthly the official address. The applicant should enter the applicant complete postal address in the appropriate field. enterprise including state and district and pin code and mobile number and email address.

Eleventhly date of commencement. The date in the past on which the enterprise entity commenced its operations may be filled in the appropriate field.

Twelfthly previous registration details. If the applicant enterprise for which the udyog aadhaar is being applied is already issued a valid entrepreneur memorandum one and two by the concerned manager district industries centre as per the micro, small and medium enterprise development act 2006 and the small scale industries registration prevailing prior to the said act, such number may be mentioned in the appropriate place.

Thirteenthly bank details. The applicant must provide his bank account number used for running the enterprise in the appropriate place. In addition the applicant must supply the Indian financial system code of the bank branch where his account is located. The indian financial system code is now a days printed on the cheque books issued by the bank. If the applicant knows the name of the bank and the branch where his account is located there the indian financial system code can be found from the website of the respective bank.

Fourteenthly major activity. The major activity that is either manufacturing and service may be chosen by the enterprise for udyog aadhaar. If your enterprise engage in both types of operations with substantial work involving production and minor work involving service portion of activity involves in the service sector then select your major activity type as manufacturing and if major work involves in service and a small portion of activity involves in manufacturing then select your major activity type as service.
